Proposal for Ladies Summer Matches 2026
Part 1 It is proposed that for the ladies summer matches from 2026 onwards, in order to reduce their length, a scoring format of single point deuce, receivers choice is adopted and, if this is agreed
Part 2 It is proposed that the Committee be given authority to introduce the same format for winter league matches from 2026/27 onwards if they judge it appropriate.
AGM date set
The date for the league AGM has been set for Tuesday November 11th 7.30pm St George, The Martyr Church Hall, Andover Road, Wash Common. Newbury. RG14 6NU
We encourage all clubs to send at least one representative as we will be discussing some proposed rule changes that will impact every club that has teams in our league. Here is the agenda for the meeting

David Lloyd Triumph in Yorkshire Cup 
A hotly contested final of the Yorkshire Cup took place at Kintbury Tennis Club on the morning of Sunday Sept 7th, and it was David Lloyd's team that emerged triumphant over last year's winners, Kintbury Tennis Club.
Taking account of the handicaps awarded to both teams, David Lloyd won the final 42-24. The winners are pictured in white tops.
